February 25: Wednesday: 7 p.m.—“Mixology 101”—Mark this night on your calendar and register for this class with certified sommelier James Reed. He’s back and this time he is going to show us how to prepare amazing cocktails at home that, in his words, “are better than” those of many bartenders. Class is limited to 35 persons. February 27: Friday 5-8 p.m. Special Guest Pourer Brett Wiese of Tri-Vin Imports—Brett is back at The Tasting Bar and he’s bringing four delightfully delicious selections from Tri-Vin Imports portfolio. Free tasting. No registration necessary.

February 28: Saturday: 1-5 p.m.— Tri-Vin Portfolio Tasting—Brett won’t be here but Dale and Allison will. Free tasting. No registration is necessary.


March 12: Thursday: 6 p.m.—Inn Between Italian Wine Pairing Dinner—It’s our first collaboration of 2015 with Chef Chris Cesta of Inn Between in Camillus. Enjoy SIX courses of delicious Italian cuisine, as only Chef Chris can create, paired with five vini italiani specially selected by Allison and Dale. The price is $80 per person including gratuity and tax. Inn Between is handling all reservations. To reserve your spot, call the Inn at (315) 672-3166. Taking reservations for 50 persons only. March 18: Wednesday: 7 p.m. — Spring Cheese and Wine Pairing Class with Erin—Spring is almost here (No, really it is.) and Erin Eshenour Lesser has put together our “best-ever” cheese and wine pairing class. Believe us, you do not want to miss this class. Registration is required and limited to 35 person. Click here to register.


April 18: Saturday: 1-6 pm.—Savvy’s Spectacular Sixth Anniversary Tasting Event—Can you believe it…it’s our sixth year in business and we are truly, truly grateful. Celebrate this momentous occasion with us at a very special Anniversary Tasting Event. Four vendors each pouring four wines; tasting notes for each; random prize drawings; wine-paired appetizers and more. Don’t miss it. Stay tuned for more details later on.

April 24: Friday: 5-8 p.m.—Avon39 Walk Dream Girls Special Tasting—Join us for a very special evening at The Tasting Bar. It’s the culmination of Allison’s two-month endeavor to raise $1800 and walk in Avon39—The Walk to End Breast Cancer—in honor of her sister, Deb. Tickets for raffle items now in the shop will be pulled, and the winners announced and lots of surprises await you. And, 10 percent of this tasting’s sales profits will be donated to her pledged amount. Dream Girls team members will be special guest pourers. This tasting event is the most significant of the year because, not only do you have the opportunity to taste great wines, you get a chance to save a life. Pretty cool, huh? Savvy Wine Cellar owner, Allison Palermo-Record has pledged $1800 to walk 39.3 miles in Avon39—The Walk to End Breast Cancer May 2-3 in Washington, D.C. A special wine tasting to help raise Allison reach her pledge will be held on Friday, April 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. Ten per cent of the tasting’s sales profits are being donated to support her efforts.
