Cava and Cupcake
This gift pack combines two of our customers’ favorites. Gran Sarao Brut Rosada Cava is a sparkling cava rosé from Spain. It is intensely red in color with nice blush tones that give off some very nice, light bubbles and a persistent crown. It has a bouquet that is touched aromas of cherry and blackberry with enough notes of fig, plum and toast to entice you to take a sip. Flavors of watermelon and black cherry are backed up some light spices with a hint of tangelo. It has a balanced, medium long finish. Wine Advocate scores this wine at 87 Points and The Savvy Wine Cellar loves it at Four Plus Corks. Perfect for an aperitif or with Sunday brunch!
Cupcake Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, 2007, from the Central Coast of California is rich and enticing and is a balance between generous profiles of fruit and oak. It is full-bodied, yet smooth, Cabernet that displays soft tannins with nice flavors of blackberry, dark cherry and plum. The dark fruits melt into flavors of mocha and toasty and end in a long, silky finish. This is a customer favorite and The Savvy Wine Cellar agrees and scores it Four Plus Corks!

Wrapped in a lovely pink package, Francis Ford Coppola’s Sofia Blanc de Blanc sparkling is a blend of Pinot Blanc (81%), Sauvignon Blanc (12%) and Muscat (7%). Named after Coppola’s famous-director daughter, Sofia, this blanc de blanc offers sophisticated flavor with seductive aromas and a light effervescence—all packaged with striking feminine flair. Aromas of peaches, apricots, tropical fruit and lemon cream arise from the glass. Like Italy’s best Prosecco, this wine is bright and crisp, displaying bright flavors on the palate and seductive notes on the finish. Perfect for your sweetie’s Valentine’s Day celebration! The Red One from First Drop is polished and refined, smooth-textured, delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), Shiraz (40%) and Barbera (5%). This easy-drinking wine has a mouthful of flavors of cherry, raspberry and a hint of white pepper on the lingering finish. The rich fruit of the Shiraz blends beautifully with Cabernet Sauvignon’s majestic structure.
