Join us Thursday May 21st and Saturday May 23rd for a special tasting pairing
several terrific wines with slow cooked barbecue "eats" to kick
off summer and Memorial Day weekend. The long range forecast for Memorial
Day looks to be warm and perfect for firing up the grill. So stop in and
taste wines that are sure to be a hit with your Memorial Day menu!
Riesling Week Begins the week after Memorial Day!!
The Savvy Wine Cellar has a huge selection of Rieslings in stock and more
are coming. If you haven't heard, May is "Riesling Month" here
in the Empire State and we are saving the best until last. Our associate,
Neil Miller, is an expert on Rieslings and is preparing a special class
for Wednesday May 27th.
Sign up NOW for the class, as space is limited to the first thirty people
to respond.
In addition to tasting wines at the Riesling Class, we will also be
tasting a wine or two every day that week at our Tasting Bar throughout
that week. All of this Riesling Mania will culminate in a Giant Riesling
Tasting on Saturday, May 30. It is going to be a memorable week devoted
to this special varietal and you won't don't want to miss a minute.
