Calling All Wine Corks!

Because what we've got to say is so BIG and EXCITING...we have only two things to say:
 
 
First... This week will be the absolute best wine tasting we've had all year!! Yes, we know we've only been open six weeks, but this week's tasting is going to be so good, that we're going out on a limb and telling you this week's tasting is, hands down, our best so far!
 
Memorial Day is coming and summer is right on its heels and we want to be ready for it.  So, on Thursday and Friday, May 21 and 23, our Wine Tastings will be all about pairing wine with bar-b-que. Sweet, mesquite or Syracuse-style...we'll have three kinds of bar-b-que for you to try with six (maybe more) kinds of wine to match. 
 
So don't miss a minute.  Join us on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 1-5 p.m. to find out what all this bar-b-que fun is all about.

Second... May 25-31 is Riesling Smack Down week at The Savvy Wine Cellar.  Here's what's going on:
 
May 26-29--Daily Riesling sampling in The Cellar. Compare a different New York Riesling with one from another region and vote for your favorite.
 
May 27 (Wednesday) Riesling Class from 7-7:45 p.m. Savvy Staffer Neil Miller, our Resident Riesling Expert, is sure to fill your head with everything you ever wanted to know about them but just never asked.  You won't want to miss this and class size is limited to 30, so make sure you sign up right away -click here to email us to sign up.

 

 
May 30 (Saturday) from 1-5 p.m. our giant Riesling Smack Down ends with a huge Riesling tasting at The Tasting Bar.  We'll be pouring Rieslings from all over the world.
