Celebrating July 4th
Drop by The Savvy Wine Cellar to make sure you are ready to celebrate the Fourth of July and pick up a few bottles.  We have all the "old" favorites you've tasted as well as several fantastic new wines that have just arrived in the shop.

In honor of our nation's birthday, The Savvy Wine Cellar will be closed on Saturday, July 4th.   So, if you need to stock up for your Fourth of July celebration, make sure you do it by Friday.

"Pick of the Week"
Here's our very first "Pick of the Week."  Selected by Allison, it is the Tenimenti Angelini Tuttobene Toscana Rosso. Here's why she thinks you should try it.

Upcoming Events
More classes, more Tastings, more fun... July is going to be great!  Here's what we have planned.

We love to follow the Tour de France every year during the month of July.  And now that Lance (Armstrong) is back in the thick of it, we're going to celebrate this annual event.  Here's how we're doing it.  Our weekly Tastings will feature wines from several of the Tour's "stages" in France as well as Spain.  We've been working extremely hard to "match" the wines with the regions, and we think we've picked some great ones for sampling. You won't want to miss a drop, so keep an eye on the calendar and our newsletter to find out what's being poured at The Tasting Bar.

On Wednesday, June 15, from 7-8 p.m., Neil Miller is going to host a class all about French wines.  Titled "You Think You Don't Know French Wines But You Really Do..." Neil will explain varietals, regions and styles of the beautiful wines from France.  If you've always wanted to try a French wine but were hesitant because...well you're just a little unsure of what they are...then this is the class for you. Click here to register for this class.

Our next class with Forrest Harpur, wine educator for Southern Wine and Spirits, is planned for July 29.  We don't want to give too much away yet, but can tell you that this class is all about tiny bubbles.  See where were going?  Stay tuned for more information. For those folks who attended last week's class with Forrest, you know you can't miss out on this one!

End of Bin Specials
The next time you stop in the shop, check out our new End of Bin Close-outs.  As vintages change, or wines go out of stock indefinitely, we will pull the last few bottles from the shelf and offer them to you at great prices.  Check it out when you come in.

12% Tuesday
Our next 12% Tuesday feature on July 7 is Spanish wines.  Stop by and save 12% on all your favorites.
